First off if the F word offends you, this is not the book for you. I think it is used in almost every sentence for the first 50 pages. As a guy who has a PhD in the F word it even got a bit much for me. After that he backs off slightly but it’s use is still prevalent throughout. But that shouldn’t surprise you given the title. That said, I would very much recommend the book, it’s not life changing but counterintuitive and thought provoking with lots of good bits of wisdom. Not giving a F is not about being indifferent and Mark puts it. It is about finding out deep down what is worth giving a F about and centering you’re mind set around that and letting the other stuff go.
Mark hits several topics, acknowledging that everyone in life has problems, exceptionalism, value of suffering, wrong headiness of your emotions, and victimhood to name a few. He hits a wide array of issues and ties them together quite well.
